Caen vs Bordeaux Predication 7 February 2017
On February 7 2017 at 18:00 in the regular game of the 24th matchday of the French Ligue 1 Caen play against Bordeaux at their home stadium Michel d’Ornano.
Caen showed some controversial results in the first half of the championship. They actually win once a three matches and it’s not a good result at all. Yet, Caen are in more or less good conditions at the moment and have 25 points after 22 games played which let them take the 14t position in the standings. We must also admit that in the latest home matches Caen outplayed Nice 1:0, Metz 3:0 and Lyon 3:2 drew Guingamp 1:1 and Dijon 3:3.
Bordeaux show pretty good results in the current season, in fact. Yet, a series of mistakes they made in their 23 games played only let them hope for the places in the Euro Cups zone. In the latest matches Bordeaux drew Nice 0:0, Angers 1:1 and Rennes 1:1 outplayed Nancy 0:2 and Toulouse 1:0. As a result, with 33 points gained and 25:28 goal difference Bordeaux take the 7th position in the standings of the national elite division.
Caen won more games played between the teams than Bordeaux. Yet, in the first round game the teams shared the points as they drew 0:0. We must also admit that Caen gain points in most of the latest home games, yet they only avoid conceding goals in the matches against the obvious outsiders of the Ligue 1. That’s why we think that both teams will manage to score at least once in the upcoming game.
