Southampton vs Stoke City Prediction 21 May 2017

It seems to us that Southampton failed in their current season. The main reasons for it are the facts that the team lost a few important players and that they changed the manager. Moreover, in the latest matches the Saints only lost to Arsenal while in the rest of the games they outplayed Middlesbrough and drew Hull, Liverpool and Manchester Untied.
As for Stoke City, they really need to make some changes in the squad of the team or else they will probably keep being ambitious middle-peasants of the Premier League. Moreover, in the current season they took the place in the second half of the standings. At the moment they are on the 14th place in the table. In fact, that they have already fulfilled their task for the current season which was to stay in the Premier League. In the latest matches Stoke City outplayed Hull City, drew West Ham and Bournemouth and lost to Swansea and Arsenal.
According to the results of the previous matches between the teams Southampton have a small advantage. Anyway, in the first round game of the current season at the pitch to the Porters the teams showed nothing interesting at all and they drew without scoring a single goal. Southampton are playing at home and it’s going to be an advantage for them, yet they showed a few poor games at their domestic stadium. We think that in the upcoming game the teams may draw.
