Montenegro vs Armenia Prediction 10 June 2017

Tournament: 2018 World Cup Qualification
Location: Podgorica City Stadium
Match date: 10.06.2017 at 19:45

On Saturday, June 10 2017 at 19:45 in the upcoming game of the 6th round of the 2018 World Cup qualification at the Podgorica City Stadium the local Montenegro national team is going to play against Armenia national team.

Montenegro have never achieved anything outstanding in their history as a sovereign state. They neither took part in the World Cup final in 2010 nor in 2014. As for the current qualification, Montenegro started it pretty well and yet they made a few mistakes later and it shortened their distance to the closest rivals. In the matches played Montenegro drew Romania, outplayed Kazakhstan and Denmark and lost to Armenia and Poland.

As for Armenia, they haven’t won any titles in their independent history since 1992. Even though they usually take part in the World Cups and Euros qualifiers, they are usually the outsiders of their groups. In the current qualification Armenia started with losses to Denmark, Romania and Poland and after that they outplayed Montenegro and Kazakhstan and got back to the race for the second place.

The teams only played one game against each other in November last year and Armenia won that match 3:2. We should also admit that in that match Montenegro were the first to score and they led by two goals when they conceded for the first time and in the end they lost. The teams are almost of the same level and yet we think that the fact that Montenegro are playing at home is definitely going to help them.
