Czech Republic U21 vs Denmark U21 Prediction 24 June 2017

Tournament: Euro U21 2017
Location: Tychy City Stadium (Tychy)
Match date: 24.06.2017 at 18:45

On 24 June, at 18:45, the second round match of the European under-21 championship will be held, in which the Czech under-21 team will play against Denmark U-21 side at Tychy stadium.

The Czech Republic national under-21 team won only one championship title at 2006 European championship in Switzerland. Apart from that, the Czechs advanced to the final in 2000, which was lost accordingly. The first game at the Euro 2017 in Poland was not best for Czech Republic. Lavicka’s men met with the peers from Germany. As it was expected, the Czechs gave away the initiative to the opponent, which ended in two conceded goals as a result.

Denmark national under-21 team considers advancement to 1992 semifinals its best achievement in the history of performance at the youth European championships. At the 2017 Euro in Poland the Danish met with the team of Italy in the first round. The Danish national team knowingly gave away the advantage to the Italians, however they managed to play without a conceded goal for the whole first half. The opponent’s slight changes allowed to find a loophole in Denmark’s defense, which eventually led to two conceded goals.

The national youth teams of Czechia and Denmark have met twice before. Back in 2014, the match ended with a draw and the 2015 encounter was won by Denmark, 1:2. Nevertheless, the performance of the Czech team prior to Euro 2017 was much better than Denmark’s. Considering all that, Czech Republic will probably be stronger.
