Basel vs Sporting Prediction 15 July 2017

On July 15 2017 at 18:00 the upcoming club friendly game will be played between Basel and Sporting.

Basel have won the biggest number of seasons in the Swiss national elite division. They have been the best team of the championship for a few years already and no one could compete with them. Basel usually show comparatively good results in the Euro Cups and they are known to be rather difficult competitors for the favorites of the competitions. As for the preseason preparation, they won three of their four matches played there while they drew once.

A series of mistakes Sporting made during the previous season didn’t let them compete for the first place in the standings and finished the championship far below the leaders Benfica. Anyway, Sporting still managed to take the third place in the table.  In their preseason campaign Sporting have only played two games so far. In those games Sporting drew Belenenses and outplayed Fenerbahce.

The upcoming game on Saturday will be the seventh one played between Basel and Sporting. The results of the previous games show the advantage of Sporting as their won four times while Basel only won once in the year 2012. It seems to us that the upcoming game will be the one between two ambitious teams, who are both very likely to score at least once.
