Arsenal vs Chelsea Prediction 6 August 2017

On August 6 2017 at 14:00 in London at the Wembley Stadium two local teams Arsenal and Chelsea are going to play against each other in the English Community Shield match.  

Arsenal finished the previous season with a good winning series and they only lacked one point to make it to the top four and make it to the Champions League zone. That is going to be their first season for a long time when they won’t take part in the Champions League. Anyway, the Gunners managed to get a trophy as they won the FA Cup. In the latest match Arsenal outplayed Benfica 5:2 and lost to Sevilla 1:2 in the friendly competition Emirates Cup.

Antonio Conte must be pleased with the fact that his team won their national championship in his first season as their manager. Anyway, the previous season was by far not as busy for Chelsea as it was for their competitors who also took part in the Euro Cups. As a result, they had much more energy for their national elite division games. Considering the results of the preseason campaign of the Blues, we must admit that they didn’t seem to be trying very hard to win in those matches. Chelsea lost to Bayern and Inter in the International Champions Cup.

Chelsea are the favorites of the upcoming match according to the bookmakers. Yet, we shouldn’t forget the final of the FA Cup where Chelsea were also considered to be the favorites and yet the Reds won in that match. Arsenal signed a strong and scoring forward and that’s why it seems to us that the Gunners will manage to score in the forthcoming match. In fact, we think that both teams will manage to score at least once this time.
