Lokomotiv Moscow vs Fastav Zlin Prediction 28 September 2017
On September 28 2017 at 20:05 at the RZD Arena in Moscow in the upcoming regular game of the second round of the Europa League group stage the local Lokomotiv will play against Zlin from Czech Republic.
Even though Lokomotiv are still one of the favorites of the Russian Premier League, the results of their latest games are really far from perfect. The victory against Rostov 0:1 in the latest match of the national elite division was just the first one in their latest five games played in all of the competitions they take part in. the beginning of that bad series was in the first round game of the Europa League where Lokomotiv drew Copenhagen.
As for Zlin, they took part in the national elite division in the previous season and showed average results there which only let them take the 6th place in the standings. Yet, the victory in the national cup let them make it to the Europa League group stage for the first time in their history. Even though the fans and the experts expected a lot from the team, they still didn’t look confident at the beginning of the current campaign. After 8 matches played since the beginning of the championship Zlin only have 10 points and take the 7th place in the standings. As for the first round game of the Europa League, Zlin drew Sheriff in it.
The upcoming game will be the first one played between Lokomotiv and Zlin. Even though neither of the teams looked convincing in their latest matches, we still think that Lokomotiv are more experienced and more skilled and that’s why we don’t think that the team from Czech Republic will gain any points in Moscow in the upcoming match.
