Sheffield United vs Bristol City Prediction 8 December 2017

Tournament: Football League Championship
Location: Bramall Lane Stadium
Match date: 08.12.2017 at 19:45

December 8th 2017 at 19:45 at the Bramall Lane Stadium in the upcoming regular game of the English Football League Championship the local Sheffield United are playing against their guest Bristol City.

The upcoming game will be a one   played between two themes which managed to show some breakthrough in the current season.  Both Sheffield and Bristol organ baiting are competing for the places in the Promotion playoffs zone.  Of course it is much unexpected to see them on the top of the standings and yet it is very interesting to watch them. We should probably stop start with the host.  In the previous season they participated in the league one and now they are deservedly among the teams competing for the places in the Promotion playoffs.  That is really great and their performance is really nice but will United be enough till the end of the season?  That is the main question for now.

I must admit that Sheffield slow down a bit till the end of November. The latest results and their performance prove it.  In the latest three games they Drew once and lost twice.  In the latest 6 games they won twice,  Drew wants once and lost three times.  They only outplayed the last team of the championship Burton Albion and Hull City who are obviously in a long go in Crisis. They actually played both of these games at home. As you see this result are far from perfection.

Their attack is not as energetic and various as it was at the beginning of the season. For example in the latest game against Millwall Sheffield only committed two attempts on target. The same situation was in their game against Birmingham. As you see they have an obvious regress in attack.

As for their defense it's not as reliable as it used to be too.  In the latest free games United conceded 9 goals. It's not actually surprising considering the other problems with the squad.  They have at least four important players missing and two of them were defenders.

The general situation in the club is also tense.  The fans and experts are speaking about how wrong the money was spent during the summer transfer window. With the squad they have now they aren't supposed to keep their position in the first half of the table.

As for Bristol City, they are also unexpectedly high in a table now. Yet they don't seem to be losing their positions at the moment. They only made mistakes in their three games of the 20 played in the current season which is just 15%.  They only lost the comparatively strong competitors like Preston and Leeds. We should also it made that Bristol look really strong in the away games as they only drew 4 times in the 10 latest away games played and haven't lost even once.  That's an impressive result as it seems to us. It is obvious that the manager of the team managed to make it work. They look strong and they co-operate well which gives them good results and good perspectives. The squad looks great and they don't have any players missing from it.  They also seem to be in good psychological conditions. All these reasons make us think that Bristol City are going to avoid a loss in the upcoming away game.
