Australia planning to ban gambling
Constant reforms in Australia have not left out gambling and the local government has seriously thought about banning casinos, poker and even betting.
Released in 2016, the bill on gambling should have completely banned online gambling, as well as eliminate all kinds of loopholes for conducting gambling on the web.
The Huffington Post Australia has immediately reacted to this venture, calling it foolish, as it is unrealistic to stop internet gambling. Players have offshore accounts, which will enable them to bet or play poker without too much trouble.
The same goes for bookmaking business. After the introduction of the bill, sports betting in live mode became unavailable, however smart bookmakers began using a phone call to confirm a bet, which made the process of online betting a little more complicated, but did not exclude it completely.
Thus, it was concluded that the betting will go underground, and the government will simply miss out a large amount of tax deductions.
