Slimani chooses between Watford and Newcastle

Popular bookmaking company Skybet has made Watford outsiders of the race to sign Leicester forward Islam Slimani.

The 29-year old forward transferred to King Power stadium from Sporting Lisbon in the summer of 2016 for a reward, which is presumed to be approximately 29 million pounds sterling, and tried very hard to become a key member of Leicester’s first squad.

The Algerian has scored only eight goals in 29 matches in all competitions for Craig Shakespeare’s team, although only in 16 of those he came out to play from the first minute.

Skybet reps reckon, that the next destination point may very well be Watford, setting the odds on the player’s transfer to Marco Silva’s camp as 8/1. Nevertheless, Newcastle also claim the forward (7/2), which have come ahead of Everton (7/1).
