PokerStars to leave Australia
The biggest online poker operator has shown, that the company will leave the market of Australia after the web gambling ban.
After Australian senate adopted a bill forbidding online casinos and poker services, PokerStars has announced about its Down Under market exit. The company still has to announce the official date and it is expected to be the middle of September.
The online poker operator said, that it will follow the market, as it is expecting the future opportunities, if Australia will allow companies offering their online services legally again, as reported by Poker News Report. PokerStars has sent an e-mail to their customers to announce, that the money will not disappear and they will be contacted again.
