A bookmaking outlet robbery happened in Sunbury

The armed robbery took place around 18:30 on Saturday evening, the 14th October, Surrey police claim.

A man in a mask broke into a bookmaking outlet in Sunbury and threatened employees with a gun before running away with the stolen money.

Surrey police officers were summoned to the Coral bookmaking outlet on avenue around 18:30, on Saturday, the 14th October after a report about the armed robbery.

The attacker, wearing a black balaclava and carrying a gun, threatened the bookmaker’s employees before receiving a decent amount of cash.

The operations in the outlet were stopped and the robber escaped the scene without assistance, police officers added.

The officers are conducting a thorough search in the area to trace the suspect and appeal to any witnesses to come to the station and report any information.
