Coleman may become Sunderland new head coach
Chris Coleman has unexpectedly become the new favorite to be appointed as Sunderland head coach on the bookmaking market.
Sky Bet has set the odds of 1/6 on the current Wales national team manager to lead the Black Cats in the Championship. Only a day ago the odds on Coleman didn’t fall below 25/1.
Coleman has to meet with the Football Association of Wales to discuss his future after the team’s failure in the 2018 World Cup qualification.
The organization is interested in keeping Coleman on the post, but the former Fulham boss wants a number of guarantees before starting to prepare the national team to the European championship and the Nations League.
