British bookmakers have spent £456 million on advertisement

British gambling operators have spent about half a billion pounds on TV advertisement, Guardian informs.

To be precise, it’s about the number of £456 ml. in 2014 spending of gambling, lotteries and betting operators on advertisement made £81,2 ml, in 2015 this sum increased and was £118.5 ml.

The figures show that the value of TV advertisement for the bookmakers has grown.

As for the current year, the bookmaker companies have spent about £51.4 ml on advertisement during the period from January to May. They were actively advertising their services before and during the Euros and the British Referendum.

The spending of the gambling and betting companies is expected to increase in 2016 and make about £123 million. The experts think that this sum may be even bigger than that.
