Real Betis vs Manchester United F.C. Prediction 16 March 2023

Sevilla will host the Europa League Round of 16 second leg between Betis and Manchester United on Thursday. 

Real Betis have had a good run in La Liga, where they have avoided defeats to Almería (3:2), Valladolid (2:1), Elche (3:2), Real Madrid (0:0) and Villarreal (1:1) in the previous five meetings. Thus, Los Verdiblancos have firmly settled in fifth position, and only three points separate them from the Champions League spot.

In the Europa League round of 32, Manchester United turned out to be stronger than Barcelona (2:2, 2:1) - now it is they who are the main favorites for success in the tournament. A couple of weeks ago, the Red Devils suffered a crushing 0:7 fiasco from Liverpool, after which they had a goalless draw with the underdog of the Premier League, Southampton.

After 4-1 in the first leg, Manchester United will play more relaxed than usual. We think this is in favor of Betis, who, with the active support of the home audience, will do everything possible to leave the tournament with their heads held high.
