SC Dnipro-1 vs SK Slavia Prague Prediction 17 August 2023
The Europa League qualifying round program will continue in Kosice, where Czech vice-champions Slavia will visit Dnipro-1.
Against the backdrop of huge squad losses, Dnipro-1 lost to Panathinaikos (1:3, 2:2) in the Champions League qualification and are now close to relegation from the Europa League. Judging by the matches of the league of Ukraine with Polissya (2:1) and Mynai (1:1), even getting into the Conference League group will be a serious achievement for Kucher's men.
In the 2023/24 season, Slavia played five official games, scoring four victories in the Fortuna Liga over Hradec Kralove (2:0), České Budejovice (3:1), Zlín (2:1) and Mlada Boleslav (1:0). In addition, the Praguers dealt with Dnipro-1 (3:0) in the UEL qualifying purely in class, making a huge step towards the group stage.
We won’t be surprised if Slavia dominates in the second leg battle, which are simply stronger and more well-played. So we expect another confident victory from the Czechs.
