SK Rapid Wien vs ACF Fiorentina Prediction 24 August 2023

On Thursday, Vienna will host another Conference League qualifier between Rapid and Fiorentina.

Already in the current campaign, Rapid were remembered for spectacular victories over Altach (4:0) and Linz (5:0), which were replaced by inexpressive meetings with LASK (1:1) and Hartberg (0:1). In European competition, the Green-Whites quite unexpectedly drew 0-0 at home against Debrecen, but a week later they were outclassed with a 5-0 score.

Last year's Conference League finalists Fiorentina got the chance to have another successful continental campaign, taking advantage of Juventus' European Cup ban. This summer, the Violets played only one official match, in which they beat Genoa 4:1 without any problems.

On paper, the guests look much stronger, but Rapid are still not going to give up without a fight. As for us, the match of these teams in Austria will turn out to be quite competitive and rich in effective shots.
