Bolivia vs Argentina Prediction 12 September 2023

In the second round of the 2026 World Cup qualifying tournament, powerful Argentina will travel to the highlands of Bolivia.

A 1:5 fiasco from Brazil immediately dropped Bolivia to ninth place in qualifying, although it would be quite possible to win one of the seven trips to the World Cup. Earlier this year, the Greens had mixed success against Saudi Arabia (2:1), Ecuador (0:1), Chile (0:0) and Panama (1:2).

Argentina looked very good against Panama (2:0), Curacao (7:0), Australia (2:0) and Indonesia (2:0) in friendly sparring matches that took place in March and June. And prior to the match, the current world champions, in the same economical manner, dealt with strong Ecuador - 1:0.

In our opinion, today's Argentina are so strong that even a very difficult trip to Bolivia is unlikely to lead to a misfire on the part of the favorites. Still, there is a huge difference in class between the teams in favor of the guests.
