Ecuador vs Uruguay Prediction 12 September 2023

The second round of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup from South America will continue with an interesting battle between Ecuador and Uruguay.

Before the start of the qualifying cycle, Ecuador managed to win friendly matches three times in a row - Australia (2:1), Bolivia (1:0) and Costa Rica (3:1) suffered from them. But in the first official game of 2023, the Tricolors predictably laid down their arms in front of Argentina - 0:1.

At the same time, Uruguay impressively dealt with Chile (3:1) and very quickly registered among the CONMEBOL qualification leaders. It should note that earlier this year La Albiceleste finished 1:1 in a draw with Japan, and also performed flawlessly in duels with South Korea (2:1), Nicaragua (4:1) and Cuba (2:0).
