Zimbabwe vs Tunisia Prediction 23 January 2017
On January 23 2017 at 19:00 in Libreville at the Stade d’Angonje in the third round game of the African Cup of Nations group stage Zimbabwe play against Tunisia.
Zimbabwe are definitely not in their best conditions before the upcoming game. The almost have no chances to make it to the play-offs of the final part of the international competition. We must remind you that Zimbabwe drew in the first round game against Algeria 2:2 and gained one point. After that they made two mistakes at the very beginning of the second round match against Senegal and didn’t manage to correct them. As a result, Zimbabwe lost to Senegal 2:0 and didn’t get a single point at all.
As for Tunisia, they are not the favorites of their Group B, yet they are higher than Algeria and Zimbabwe. In the first round game of the current stage they lost to Senegal 0:2. In the second round match Tunisia played against Algeria. Tunis had been the leaders of the match since the very beginning, yet they only managed to score on the 60th minute. After that they scored another goal but couldn’t help conceding one.
The teams have never met before in their history. Zimbabwe national team doesn’t seem to be ready to compete with other top team in the international competitions. As for Tunisia, they are more skilled and have a better squad. They are also more titled and experienced and are more likely to win in the upcoming game and to get a bit closer to making it to the play-offs of the international competition.
