Derby County vs Leicester City Prediction 27 January 2017

Even though Derby County don’t show any outstanding performance in the current season, they are still in the race for the places in the promotion play-offs zone of the English football League Championship. Yet, they may have to try even for such a modest tusk as the series of mistakes they made at the start of the season don’t let them get higher above the relegation zone. They are now just 5 points above the 18th position. In the previous third round of the FA Cup Leicester outplayed Everton 1:2.
The statistics and the results of the previous head-to-heads of the teams show the advantage of Leicester. In fact, last time the teams met was in January 2014 and Leicester won at home with the devastating 4:1. Derby County haven’t lost at home since September 24 which is nine matches in a row. As for Leicester, they only got one away victory in that same period against Everton in the FA Cup. We think that in the upcoming game both teams are going to score at least once.
