CSKA vs Young Boys Prediction 23 August 2017

Tournament: Champions League Qualification
Location: CSKA Arena
Match date: 23.08.2017 at 19:45

On Wednesday 23 2017 at 19:45 in Moscow at the Arena CSKA in the second leg game of the UEFA Champions League qualification final the local CSKA will play against their Swiss guests Young Boys.

CSKA aren’t very good at the beginning of the current season at all. Of course, they are traditionally considered to be one of the leaders of their national elite division and yet they still look worse compared to Locomotiv, speaking nothing about Zenit. On Saturday August 19 CSKA didn’t manage to outplay Ural as they drew them 0:0. As for the first leg game against Young Boys, CSKA looked worse according to most of the stats and yet they won due to the auto-goal of the defender of the Swiss team.

Young Boys, in their turn, are considered to be one of the best teams of Switzerland even though their results are really far from perfection and the latest matches prove it. The draw against Zurich 0:0 on Saturday was the second winless match for Young Boys. Before that they lost to Tunes 0:4 at home. They are still rather difficult competitors in the Champions League qualification as they have already knocked-off Dynamo Kyiv being the outsiders in those matches.

The game on Wednesday will be the second one played between CSKA and Young Boys. We think that the Swiss were mostly going to concentrate on the domestic match which they unfortunately lost. This time CSKA are playing at home and that’s why we think that they are more likely to make it to the group stage having an advantage of one away goal.
