Setubal vs Braga Prediction 10 September 2017

On September 10 2017 at 16:00 in one of the Sunday games of the fifth matchday of the Portuguese Primeira Division at the Bonfim Stadium the local Setubal are going to play against Braga.

The starting games of the current season are rather controversial for Setubal. Yet, even though they only lost once, they are one of the four teams which haven’t gained won a single game yet. We must remind you that in those previous matches Setubal drew Belenenses, Chaves and Moreirense with the same 1:1 score and lost to Sporting 1:0 in the first away game.

Most of the problems Braga had in the starting matches of the current season of the national elite division were caused with their injured players in the squad. We must remind you that between the losses to Benfica 3:1 and Porto 0:1, the favorites of the league in the first and in the last games, the Gunners outplayed Portimonense 2:1 and Aves 0:2. As a result, Braga have 6 points at the moment which is a rather good result for them, including the fact that they are missing a lot of footballers.

In the latest five games played between the teams Braga won three times while the teams drew in the rest of the matches. Considering the fact that Braga are missing at least four important footballers in the main squad and they are playing at home, we think that the Gunners may lose points. Yet, the level of Setubal is much worse than the level of Braga. That’s why we prefer to think that Braga will manage to avoid a loss.
