Tottenham vs Liverpool Prediction 22 October 2017
On October 22 2017 at 16:00 in the final game of the 9th regular matchday of the English Premier League at the Wembley Stadium Tottenham will play against their guests Liverpool.
Even though the performance of Tottenham isn’t as reliable as it could be, they have been among the favorites of the league for a few seasons already. Anyway, they are rather strong in attack and comparatively reliable in defense. Last Tuesday Tottenham shared the points with Real Madrid in their Champions League match as they drew 1:1. That draw prolonged the lossless series of the team to make it 10 games long already. Yet, after Chelsea in the second match Tottenham only met the middle-peasants or the outsiders of the league where they mostly won without any serious problems.
As for the guests in the upcoming match, they had a series of good results in the new season and after that they had some kind of a recession. The loss to Manchester City 5:0 was some kind of a breakpoint for them. After that loss Liverpool played eight games where they only won twice against Leicester City 2:3 and Maribor 0:7. Liverpool are now on the 8th position in the standings and even though they haven’t lost for four games already, they still won only one game against Leicester.
Liverpool won most of the games played between the teams in their history. Anyway, it was always difficult for them to play against the Spurs in London as they have only won 5 games against them since 1998. At the moment Tottenham look much stronger and they are very likely to avoid a loss in the upcoming game.
