Bristol Rovers vs Swindon Town Prediction 8 November 2017

Tournament: EFL Trophy
Location: Memorial Stadium
Match date: 08.11.2017 at 19:45

On November 8 2017 at 19:45 in the upcoming regular game of the third round of the EFL Trophy group stage at the Memorial Stadium the local Bristol Rovers are playing against Swindon Town.

Bristol Rovers are considered to be strong middle peasants of the English League One and in the previous they took the 10th position in the standings. In the current season Bristol show rather controversial results. They are really unreliable in defense and even though they score a lot, they still can’t improve their results. Today, after 16 games played in the EFL Trophy Bristol Rovers take the 13th position in the standings with 21 points gained. They have already played two games in the EFL Trophy where they outplayed Wycombe Wanderers 1:5 and lost to West Ham United U21 2:3.

As for Swindon Town, they obviously failed in the previous season in the English League One and they were relegated to the lower division after that. In the current season they prove to be one of the leaders of the League Two and take the 5th position in the table after 16 games played. They have only gained three points in their previous two games of the EFL Trophy as they lost to West Ham U23 and outplayed Wycombe Wanderers.

In the previous season the teams played two games against each other and Bristol Rovers won both of these games 1:2 and 1:0. At the moment Bristol Rovers are in a serious recession as they were kicked-off from the English FA Cup. Even though Swindon Town participate in a lower division, they are still in really good conditions and it makes us think that they won’t be the outsiders of the upcoming match.
