Alaves vs Valencia Prediction 24 January 2018
On January 24 2018 at 18:00 in the upcoming game of the Copa del Rey quarterfinal at the Estadio de Mendizorroza in Vitoria-Gasteiz the local Deportivo Alaves are playing against Valencia.
Analyzing the results of the current and the previous season of Alaves, we must admit that they are in a serious crisis at the moment. They may be not motivated enough or they may have the second season syndrome, but some problems don’t let the team show any progress at all. On January 21 Alaves played their latest game in the national championship where they hosted Leganes. They were leading 2:0 at some point and yet after that they conceded one goal, had their player sent-off and conceded one more goal in the end. As for Valencia, they obviously had some problems at the end of the previous year and at the beginning of the current one. The Bets lost in three of the five games played during that period. On January 20 they played their latest game in the national championship. It was an away match against Las Palmas and they weren’t supposed to have any problems in it at all. Moreover, Valencia were the first to score on the 5th minute. Yet, they conceded their first goal on the 20th minute and the second one on the 53rd minute. They also had their two players sent-off. As you see, the previous match had a bad end for the team.
Valencia are considered to be the favorites of the upcoming game. Despite their previous sensational loss, they still showed really great results in the current season. As for Alaves, they made it to the final of the Copa del Rey in the previous season and they won’t probably manage to do it in the current season. We think that the visitors are much more likely to win in the upcoming match.
