Bayern Munich vs Schalke Prediction 10 February 2018
On February 10 2018 at 17:30 in the forthcoming match of the 22nd game week of the German Bundesliga at the Allianz Arena the local Bayern are playing against their guests Schalke.
It’s obvious that the winter break let Bayern improve their conditions even more. At the end of December they looked not as strong as they sued to be and they hardly won against the outsiders of the league like Koln and Stuttgart 1:0. On the other hand, after the short break they won four matches in a row with 14:5 goal difference. They won against Hoffenheim 5:2, Werder 4:2, Bayer Leverkusen 1:3 and Mainz 0:5.
Despite the fact that some of the experts are a little bit skeptical about Bayern, they are still in rather good conditions. In the latest ten home games Bayern only lost points once as they drew Wolfsburg 2:2. In some other games they outplayed their competitors with the devastating scores and we don’t think that Schalke will have anything to show in the upcoming match.
On the other hand, Schalke are by far not in their best conditions at the moment. They had a wonderful 12 matches long lossless series before the winter break while after that they lost to Leipzig 1:3 and Werder 1:2 and drew Hannover 1:1. Well, it will be frank if we say that even before the break Schalke had some obvious problems and only luck saved them from the losses sometimes. This time we don’t really think that they will manage to show any outstanding performance to win against Bayern.
We actually think that Bayern are going to win this time and to do it with a convincing score. In general, the hosts have everything they need to do it. They will have their domestic fans supporting them and they have their necessary players in the squad. Schalke, in their turn, are by far not in their best conditions. Moreover, they only managed to avoid loss at the Allianz Arena twice in their latest 8 matches. All of the facts we have already mentioned make us think that the hosts are going to win this time with a convincing score.
