Goteborg host HJK Helsinki at Gamla Ullevi in the Europa League third qualifying round.
Another Scandinavian derby in the eurocups. We expect to see spectacular, fast-paced and high-scoring football in the first leg.
Goteborg managed to pass through Piast in previous round as they secured 3:0 away victory in the first leg. In the second one, Swedish side decided to shut the game down and managed to tie their opponents 0:0. Before that, Goteborg outplayed Welsh Llandudno (5:0 at home and 1:2 on the road). As we can clearly see Goteborg had no problems with previous opponents, but it’s is going to change now.
HJK reached 3rd qualifying round rather easily as well. And they are not going to give up so close to the group stage. Surely, coaching stuff of the visitors will hope for the away goal.
