Everton vs Brighton and Hove Albion Prediction 10 March 2018

Tournament: English Premier League
Location: Goodison Park
Match date: 10.03.2018 at 15:00

On March 10 2018 at 15:00 in the upcoming regular game of the 30th game week of the English Premier League at the Goodison Park in Liverpool the local Everton are going to play against Brighton and Hove Albion.

Everton looked comparatively good in their latest away match against Burnley and they even led 0:1 by the end of the first half and yet in the second half they didn’t manage to keep their advantage and lost 2:1 in the end. We must actually admit that the away games aren’t very successful for Everton in the current season as they lost their latest five away matches in a row. The upcoming home match will probably be their chance to break their losing series this time.

Everton are comparatively good at home as they won their latest two matches in a row and only the teams from the top seven won at the Goodison Park. In the rest of the matches Everton were really great as they only lost once playing against the teams from the places lower than the seventh. They still haven’t solved their problems of staying in the national elite division as they are just seven points above the relegation zone and they will have another away game and home ones against Manchester City and Liverpool where they will definitely lose points. We are sure that Big Sam’s side will be extremely motivated and they will be trying their best to save their nerves at the end of the season.

We really don’t think that Everton will lose their three points in the upcoming home game. Brighton haven’t won a single away game in the current season of the English Premier League. They are actually able to gain points in the home matches but in the away ones they are really far from perfect. Brighton only won two away matches and it happened in autumn. In fact, they just use the “bus” strategy in their away matches and that’s why we don’t think that they will concede a lot of goals. Moreover, they aren’t very efficient, as they had 64% of the away matches where they didn’t score even once.

That’s actually why we think that the upcoming match at the Goodison Park will have a lot of goals. Both teams are really careful and they don’t really score a lot trying to concentrate on defense. In the first round game of the current season the teams drew 1:1 and they didn’t have any goals scored by the 82nd minute. All of the facts we have already mentioned make us think that there won’t be a lot of goals scored and that Everton will be able to avoid a loss.
