Everton vs Newcastle United Prediction 23 April 2018

Tournament: English Premier League
Location: Goodison Park
Match date: 23.04.2018 at 20:00

On April 23 2018 at 20:00 at the Goodison Park in Liverpool in the upcoming match of the 23rd game week of the English Premier League the local Everton are playing against their guests Newcastle United.

Newcastle had an incredible lossless series not long ago and yet it seems to us that the results for that series were luck and a simple schedule. They won three of those four games at the domestic stadium where they were rather strong even before that. Moreover, in those games they won against Southampton and Huddersfield who are in the crisis or rather humble and Arsenal who are very tired of playing in both national competitions and the Europa League. Their only away games won was against Leicester City who looked too concentrated in those match.

It seems to us that the limit of lack is over for Newcastle and moreover they don’t seem to be ready psychologically to have such long winning series. One more thing we must admit is that Newcastle don’t really need to gain any more points this time as they have already fulfilled their task of staying in the national elite division.

Everton don’t fight for anything in particular in the current season and the only thing which may motivate them is the factor of the domestic pitch. They haven’t won at the Goodison Park since March 10 and it happened mostly because of a difficult schedule as they were visited by Manchester City and Liverpool. Anyway, they don’t seems to have given up as they managed to gain points in the match against Swansea who are extremely motivated.

In their home games played against the teams from below the top seven Everton on nine times and drew once. They also gained points playing against Liverpool and Chelsea as they drew with the same 0:0 score. As for Newcastle, they lost half of their away matches and moreover, they haven’t won at the Goodison Park since 2010. It seems to us that this series won’t be broken in the upcoming match.
