Italy vs Saudi Arabia Prediction 28 May 2018

On May 28 2018 at 19:45 at the Kybunpark in St. Gallen, Switzerland in the upcoming international friendly game Italy national team will play against Saudi Arabia national team.

Italians are more than obvious favorites of the upcoming match as they have a huge advantage in class compared to the Arabians which they are actually supposed to use. The Italians lost to Swedish national team in the play-off of the World Cup qualification and consequently didn’t make it to that competition. It hurt their ambitions a lot as the Italians were used to participating at all of the international forums for many years. At the moment Italy are mostly playing thinking about the future and about their qualification for the Euros which starts in a year with the new manager Roberto Manchini on the head who is supposed to help the team prepare for all of the upcoming competitions.

As for Saudi Arabia, they were lucky to make it to the World Cup in Russia for the second time in their history. They don’t have a lot of chances to achieve any actual success in that competition as they will have to play against Egypt, Russia and Uruguay in the group there and still they will be able to get some of the experience in the international forums. The results of the friendly games played against Saudi Arabia were really controversial as they lost to Iraq and Belgium with the devastating 4:1 and 4:0 scores and drew Ukraine 1:1 and yet it was at the beginning of the year, in February and March while in the latest two matches they won with the same 2:0 score against Algeria and Greece.

The performance of the Blues is supposed to become much better soon as they will play with the new manager and all of the players will be trying to prove that they deserve their places in the mains quad. Saudi Arabia are obviously not the right competitors to fight against the teams like Italy and that’s why we think that the Blues are much more likely to win this time and to do it with a convincing score.
