Flamengo vs Corinthians Prediction 3 June 2018
On May 3 2018 at the Estadio Luso-Brasiliero in Rio de Janeiro in the upcoming match of the 9th game week of the Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A the local Flamengo will play against their guests Corinthians. That’s match will be a one between the leader of the Serie A and one of the challengers of the leadership.
Flamengo are now on the first place in the national championship one point above their closest rivals Sao Paulo. At the moment the Red and Blacks have five victories, two draws and one lose in eight games played. Besides, they successfully made it to the play-offs of the Copa Libertadores. So, the current season has been rather successful for the team so far. Flamengo seem to be in wonderful conditions and they are ready to go on making their fans happy with their results.
As for Corinthians, they are on the third place in the standings of the Serie A with 14 points gained. In case they win in the upcoming match, Corinthians will have the same number of points as Flamengo have. Yet, Corinthians haven’t been very stable lately as they finished their previous five matches with different results. In the previous match of the national championship they outplayed the middle-peasants of the league America. Yet, they did it at home while they haven’t won away from home for three games in a row already.
The teams between the leaders of the championship are always very careful ones as the stakes are high and nobody wants to make a mistake. We really don’t think that this trend will change in the upcoming match. Flamengo aren’t used to scoring a lot of goals while Corinthians are by far not perfect playing away from home. All of the facts we have already mentioned make us think that there won’t be too many goal scored this time.
