Germany vs Saudi Arabia Prediction 8 June 2018

Tournament: International Friendlies
Location: Bay Arena, Leverkusen
Match date: 08.06.2018 at 18:30

On June 8 2018 at 18:30 at the Bay Arena in Leverkusen in the upcoming international friendly match the local Germany national football team will play against Saudi Arabia national football team.

Saudi Arabia are to start the World Cup in the match against the hosts of the competition Russia. Germany are the current champions of the World and they are one of the favorites of the upcoming Mundial and this time they will have to play against one of the obvious outsiders of the competition.

Despite the fact that Germany are the current champions of the world, their results haven’t been very impressive lately. On June 2 the Eagles lost to their important competitors Austria 1:2 despite the fact that they were the first to score in that game. Before that loss to Austria they are also outplayed by Brazil 0:1 and drew England 0:0, Spain 1:1 and France 2:2. It’s obvious that they are supposed to improve their results a little bit and they can do it in the match against Saudi Arabia in case they win with a convincing score.

As for Saudi Arabia, they have already played four friendly matches during the last month were they outplayed Algeria and Greece with the same 2:0 score and lost to Italy 1:2 and Peru 0:3. The latest match against the South Americans showed that Saudi Arabia have really a lot of problems which the Germans may actually use. Even one goal scored in the match against Germany will be a huge achievement for them.

The manager of Germany has already chosen the squad for the upcoming World Cup in Russia and despite the fact that they have some of the problems with the forwards, they are still extremely strong in the middle of the pitch. We really don’t think that Saudi Arabia will have at least any chances in the upcoming match against the Germans and that’s why we think that the hosts are going to score comparatively a lot of goals.
