Switzerland vs Costa Rica Prediction 27 June 2018

On June 27 2018 at 19:00 at the Stadion Nizhny Novgorod in the upcoming third round game of the World Cup group stage Switzerland national football team will play against Costa Rica national football team. Costa Rica have already lost their chances to make it to the next stage of the competition while Switzerland are almost in the Round of 16 already. Now they will try their best to make it to the play-offs from the first place.

In the first two rounds Switzerland drew Brazil and hardly outplayed Serbia. Now they are to play against the obvious outsiders of the group and it may be a little bit difficult to score against them as the defense and the goalkeeper of the team are very professional.

As for Costa Rica, they had their chances to draw in the match against Brazil and yet they missed two goals during the additional time after the second half. Now they almost definitely will take the last place in the group and won’t be able to repeat their achievement they made at the previous World Cup four years ago. Yet, they still have some motivation to finish the competition with a good result.

Both teams are wonderful in defense and yet Switzerland are a little bit better in attack. Moreover, they are the favorites of the upcoming match and they are a bit more likely to win, as it seems to us.
