Macedonia vs Liechtenstein Prediction 13 October 2018

Tournament: UEFA Nations League
Location: Telekom Arena, Skopje
Match date: 13.10.2018 at 19:45

On October 13 2018 at 19:45 at the Telekom Arena in Skopje in the forthcoming regular match of the third round of the UEFA Nations League the local Macedonia national team will play against the guests Liechtenstein.

Macedonia only lost one single game since the year 2017 and they did it playing against the stars Spain and they managed to score a goal in that match. In the rest of the games Macedonia drew Turkey, Albania, Italy, Finals and Azerbaijan and outplayed Armenia, Norway, Liechtenstein, Gibraltar, Israel and Belarus. Their managed Angelovski helped them a lot in it as he led the generations change and added a lot of new great players to the squad. In the year 2016 they were losing and yet their performance looked much better. Anyway, we must admit that there are a lot of wonderful players in the squad of the team which helps the manager a lot. As a result, Macedonia won both of their games in the Nations League as they outplayed Gibraltar and Armenia with the same 2:0 score. These are really good results to try and win their group and fight for the ticket to the Euros 2020.

As for Liechtenstein, they only outplayed really poor Gibraltar while they lost in their match against Armenia who are obviously better qualified. As a result, Liechtenstein lost in their latest eight official matches in a row with 2:28 goal difference. In case they look at the longer distance, they only won once against Moldova, drew Lithuania and lost 22 times while 18 times they did it with the big scores. It doesn’t look like they are ready to fight against Macedonia, who are now much sterner.

So, as you see, Macedonia have improved their conditions significantly lately, their performance looks really strong and comparatively balanced and they cooperate well. As for Liechtenstein, they are still one of the outsiders of the European football. All of the facts we have already mentioned make us think that the hosts are much more likely to win and to do it with a convincing score.
