Libertad vs Gremio Prediction 2 August 2019

On August 2 2019 at 01:30 at the Estadio Defensores del Chaco in the upcoming second leg game of the CONMEBOL Libertadores Round of 16 the local Libertad are going to play against their guests Gremio. In the first leg game the Brazilians won with 2:0 score and this time the hosts will try to change the situation.

The Paraguay national championship started just three weeks ago and in it Libertad started with three minimal victories in a row. Besides, they showed great results at the group stage of the Copa Libertadores where they took the first position. Yet, after the loss in the first round the chances of making it to the next stage got a lot worse for the Black and Whites.

At the same time after one third of the Brazilian championship Gremio are in the middle of the standings and yet their results and cooperation are getting a lot better. In the previous matches they shared the points with CSA and Internacional and last time they lost was at the beginning of June.

We think that the Brazilians will go on with their lossless series as they aren’t worse than Libertad at all. We think that the hosts will have to attack a lot this time and yet the best they can achieve is the draw.
