Tranmere Rovers vs Watford Prediction 23 January 2020
On January 23 2020 at 19:45 at the Prenton Park in Birkenhead Merseyside in the upcoming regular match of the FA Cup Round of 64 the local Tranmere Rovers are going to play against their guest Watford.
Tranmere are the representatives of the third best English division and after 28 matches played since the start of the season they only take the 21st position there. Yet, the Blue and Whites feel pretty well in the national Cup as they have already outplayed a few unknown teams like Wycombe and Chichester.
As for Watford, they are participating in the national elite divison Premier League where in the middle of the season they are near the relegation zone. Anyway, after they had their manager replaced, the situation got significantly better for them. As for the national cup, they have only played one game in it against those same Tranmere Rovers and they drew 3:3 in that match. We smut admit that this is a result which is far from satisfying for them.
Anyway, we think that in the second leg game Watford will be able to fulfill their obvious difference in class and even the factor of the domestic pitch won’t stop them from it. We think that even if they need to give up on the national cup to concentrate on the championship, it won’t happen in the Round of 64 against the outsiders of the League One.
