The highlight of the twenty-third round of Serie A will be the principled derby between Milan and Inter.

At the moment, Milan with 49 points and a goal difference of 45:25 are confidently coming in second and are claiming to reach the Champions League group stage for the first time in many years. It should be noted that in the previous five encounters Rossoneri outplayed Cagliari 2:0, Bologna 2:1 and Crotone 4:0 and also turned out to be weaker than Atalanta (0:3) and Spezia (0:2).

Inter are eliminated from all cups and are now focused only on Serie A. There, Nerazzurri lead the peloton, having gained 50 points with a 54:24 goal difference. Starting in mid-January, Conte's men have dealt with Juventus (2:0), Benevento (4:0), Fiorentina (2:0) and Lazio (3:1), meanwhile having a goalless draw with Udinese.

The guests, whose class is significantly higher and the schedule of games is simpler, are considered small favorites of this pair. But we don't think Milan agree with this line of thought. Based on this, the derby will turn out to be quite spectacular and efficient.
