Girona FC vs Rayo Vallecano Prediction 20 June 2021

The second series of the Catalan-Madrid confrontation between Girona and Rayo Vallecano will take place next Sunday.

At the end of the season, Girona gained excellent shape, thanks to which they received the right to participate in the play-offs that determine the future participant of La Liga. In the last five encounters, the White-Reds beat Alcorcon 1:0, Almeria 3:0 and Rayo Vallecano 2:1, and also had a draw 1:1 with Cartagena and 0:0 with the same Almeria.

In the last two rounds of Segunda, Rayo Vallecano played with varying success against Castellón (2:0) and Lugo (0:1). However, this did not prevent them from finishing sixth. In the semifinals of the playoffs for the elite, Los Franjirrojos easily dealt with Leganes (3:0, 0:0), but the first final game was unsuccessful for them.

Now Vallecano only needs a victory with a difference of two goals, which is very difficult to do. We would not be surprised if Girona continue their unbeaten run in the second match.
