The match between Arsenal and Sunderland will kick off the League Cup quarter-finals program.

Arsenal were on a phenomenal footing towards the end of the year, easily crushing Southampton, 3-0, West Ham, 2-0 and Leeds, 4-1. The Gunners are no less successful in the League Cup. There, they made their debut with the defeat of West Bromwich (6:0), after which they took care of Wimbledon (3:0) and Leeds (2:0).

Sunderland currently represent League One, where they’re ranked third with an excellent chance of promotion. A couple of days ago the Black Cats drew 1:1 with Ipswich. And their cup path included victories over Port Vale (2:1), Blackpool (3:2), Wigan (2:0) and QPR (1:0).

Arsenal are on fire right now, and the opportunity to win at least one trophy at the end of the season only motivates them further. We predict the hosts' confident success with a difference of at least two goals.
