Brentford F.C. vs Manchester City F.C. Prediction 29 December 2021

The twentieth round of the Premier League will present us with an interesting confrontation between the daring debutants of the elite Brentford and formidable Manchester City.

Despite his humble status, Brentford have moved away from the relegation zone to a safe distance and are in thirteenth position with 20 points and a goal difference of 21:24. In the last five meetings, the Bees defeated Everton, 1:0 and Watford, 2:1, drew 2:2 with Leeds, and also capitulated to Tottenham (0:2) and Brighton (0:2).

Manchester City have gained phenomenal shape, making it easy to declass Watford, 3:1, Wolverhampton, 1:0, Leeds, 7:0, Newcastle, 4:0 and Leicester, 6:3. Unsurprisingly, at such a pace, Guardiola's men took over the lead. In total, they have gained 47 points, supplemented by statistics of accurate shots of 50:12.

As for me, such a Manchester City will easily cope with Brentford, which clearly lacks the experience of matches with high difficulty. The guests will win by at least two goals.
