RC Lens vs Lille OSC Prediction 4 January 2022

In the central match of the French Cup round of 32, Lens and Lille will try to determine the strongest between them.

Lens made his debut in the National Cup with a minimal victory of 1:0 over the modest Stade Poitevin (1:0). However, in the league, the Blood and Gold are one of the most spectacular teams. After games with Angers (2:2), Clermont (2:2), PSG (1:1), Nantes (2:3) and Nice (1:2), they are ninth with 27 points and a goal difference of 33:26.

The reigning French champions, Lille, did not start the season well, but towards the end of the first half they have gained an impressive shape. Victories over Rennes (2:1), Troyes (2:1) and Bordeaux (3:2) as well as draws 1:1 with Nantes and 0:0 with Lyon, raised Les Dogues to eighth position. In the Cup, they easily defeated Auxerre, 3:1.

Both teams are worthy of each other, but today Lille look much more preferable. In our opinion, the guests will do their best to succeed and take advantage of the major challenges in Lens’ defense.
