Brentford F.C. vs Manchester United F.C. Prediction 19 January 2022

The postponed match of the seventeenth round of the Premier League between Brentford and Manchester United will take place next Wednesday.

In the middle of winter, Brentford fell into a minor crisis. This is evidenced by their defeats 0:2 against Brighton, 0:1 against Manchester City, 1:4 against Southampton and 0:3 against Liverpool, between which there was a 2:1 victory over Aston Villa. The Bees are currently in fourteenth place with 23 points, a goal difference of 24:33 and ten points clear of the relegation zone.

Manchester United are now only seventh with 32 points and a goal difference of 32:29. Such layouts clearly do not suit the permanent contender for the Champions League zone. It should be noted that over the past month, the Red Devils dealt with Norwich (1:0) and Burnley (3:1), had a 1:1 draw with Newcastle and 2:2 with Aston Villa, and also lost 0:1 to Wolverhampton.

Both teams are now far from optimal conditions - first of all, this concerns the conversion of scoring chances. We wouldn't be surprised if the head-to-head duel between Brentford and Manchester United turns out to be ineffective.
