Villarreal CF vs Juventus F.C. Prediction 22 February 2022

Next Tuesday will be another match of the Champions League round of 16 between Villarreal and Juventus.

Villarreal are experiencing one of the peak moments in their history. In 2021, they triumphed in the Europa League for the first time. At the Champions League group stage, Yellow Submarine finished second in the company of Manchester United, Atalanta and Young Boys. And the day before, they confirmed their ambitions with a confident 4-1 victory over Granada.

Until recently, Juventus were in excellent condition, but after a 1:1 draw with Atalanta and 1:1 with Torino, they are risking being relegated from the top four of Serie A. On the continental arena, Bianconeri performed much better. The first place in the quartet with Chelsea, Zenit and Malmö is another confirmation of this.

The more skillful Juventus are considered to be the global favorites of this pair. However, Villarreal are able to impose decent competition at their home ground. As for us, the teams will play too cautiously and are unlikely to please us with scoring extravaganza.
