Sheffield United will face Nottingham in the second semi-final of the Championship play-offs.

Sheffield United's previous campaign was in the Premier League, where they infamously finished last. However, a year later, the Blades are knocking on the door of the elite division again. After three consecutive triumphs over Cardiff (1:0), QPR (3:1) and Fulham (4:0), they have chosen fifth position in the Championship.

While Nottingham took fourth place, but were very close to direct promotion. Especially against the backdrop of victories over Peterborough (1:0), Fulham (1:0) and Swansea (5:1). All of the Forest’s plans were broken after a 0:1 defeat against direct competitors Bournemouth, and then there was also a 1:1 draw with unmotivated Hull.

In our opinion, the mental advantage in this pair remains with Sheffield United, which will also perform in front of their home audience. The hosts have enough playing skills to at least not lose.
