The sixth round of the Argentine Primera will continue with an interesting battle between Independiente and Platense.

Independiente are very strong at home, where Talleres (1:0) and Estudiantes (2:1) had no chance before that. But on the road, there were misfires with San Lorenzo (1:1), Argentinos Juniors (1:2) and Patronato (1:3). Thus, the Red-Whites have settled in sixteenth position with seven points and a goal difference of 6:7.

Platense's performance is not much better - nine points, goals 4:2 and the sixth line of the standings. At the start of the campaign, the White-Blacks focused on reliability in defense, which bore fruit in duels with Godoy Cruz (2:1), Vélez Sarsfield (1:0), Gimnasia y Esgrima (1:1), Aldosivi (0:0) and Sarmiento (0:0).

As for us, Platense will continue to hold their pragmatic line in this confrontation. And since Independiente's attack is far from the most powerful in the league, we don't expect scoring extravaganza from these teams.
