Malmö FF vs Varbergs BoIS Prediction 9 July 2022

The thirteenth matchday of the Swedish league will be opened with the confrontation between Malmö and Varbergs.

Prior to the match, Malmö sensationally lost 1:2 to outsiders Sundsvall, because of which they remained in the current fifth position with 21 points and a modest goal difference of 14:12. Varbergs are only twelfth with 14 points with a 11:19 goal difference. In the recent past, the White-Greens broke the resistance of Degerfors (2:1) and Varnamo (3:0) at home, but away they blundered in front of Gothenburg (1:1), Djurgårdens (0:4) and Elfsborg (1:4).

Today's Malmö are very far from defending the status of the reigning league champions. Nevertheless, in a home game with one of the contenders for relegation, we expect them to win, even if not big.
