The eighteenth matchday of Brasileirao will be remembered for an interesting meeting between Internacional and Sao Paulo.

Back in mid-June, Internacional turned out to be weaker than Botafogo (2:3), after which they alternate home victories over Coritiba (3:0) and America Mineiro (1:0) with away draws against Ceara (1:1) and Atletico Paranaense (0 :0). The current fourth place with 29 points and a goal difference of 23:15 completely suits the Red-Whites, which are only two points behind the leaders.

Sao Paulo's figures are a bit more modest - ninth position, 24 points and goals 22:18. Over the past month, Tricolor Paulista dealt with Atletico Goianiense (2:1), capitulated to Palmeiras (1:2), and also had a 0:0 draw with Juventude, 0:0 with Atletico Mineiro and 2:2 with Fluminense.

The lion's share of Internacional's victories has been earned for many years at their home arena, but Sao Paulo are not very good away. Our prediction: the hosts will at least not lose here, and the match will be moderately efficient.
