C.F. Estrela da Amadora vs S.L. Benfica Prediction 20 November 2022

This weekend, we will see another match of the first round of the Portuguese League Cup between Estrela and Benfica.

To date, Estrela play in the second most powerful league in Portugal, where they are taking a worthy third place with only one defeat in thirteen rounds. And over the past month, the Stars looked great against of Sporting Covilha (2-1), Mafra (2-2), Vilafranquense (1-1), Belenenses (-1) and Oliveirense (1-0).

At the same time, Benfica thrashed Chaves (5-0), Maccabi Haifa (6-1), Estoril (5-1, 1-0) and Gil Vicente (3-1), thanks to which they confirmed their status as one of the strongest clubs in Europe. In the Primeira Liga, the Eagles are leading with a handicap of eight points, and in the Champions League they qualified for the play-offs from the first position.

As for us, Benfica are unlikely to show their best football, given the fact that most of their players left for the World Cup. Despite this, the guests are still much stronger than Estrela and will prove it in practice.
