Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C. vs Manchester United F.C. Prediction 31 December 2022

Saturday's program of the Premier League matchday 18 starts with a meeting between Wolverhampton and Manchester United.

Prior to the match, Wolverhampton beat Everton 2-1, thanks to which they rose from the bottom of the standings to a more or less prosperous eighteenth place with 13 points and a goal difference of 10-25. While in the second half of autumn, the Wolves’ results were poor - a 1-1 draw against Brentford, as well as a 0-4 defeat against Leicester, 2-3 against Brighton and 0-2 against Arsenal.

In a similar period of time, Manchester United can boast of victories over West Ham (1-0), Fulham (2-1) and Nottingham (3-0), a 1-1 draw with Chelsea, but the fiasco 1-3 against Aston Villa is clearly wasn’t part of their plans. So far, the Red Devils are fifth with 29 points with a 23-20 goal difference.

With a new coach, Wolverhampton are slowly bouncing back, while Manchester United's recent visits to Molineux have not always been successful. We think that either the guests will win with a minimum score, or the Wolves will achieve a draw.
